Lenovo Thinkpad T61 is in great working condition. Looks in good shape.
A cosmetic flaw (Keyboard bezel is lifted up near the hinge--see pics near fan)

Keyboard has a few barely noticeable shiny keys

Your T61 pictures are quite bad, but if I am seeing the defect correctly it looks like a broken piece on the very back of the keyboard bezel? Also, what is the manufacturer date from the sticker on the laptops bottom? You will be asked that question due to the issues with early nVidia chips on these models.

oh, ill try taking some better pics later on today.
Yeah keyboard bezel plastic lifts up, i press it and it stays down for a sec. (I was planning on keeping it but this bothers me)

T61's manufactured after July 2008 have a 'fixed' nVidia gpu. Yours was manufactured in August 2007, so unless the systemboard was replaced after 7/2008 it potentially has the defect. http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... 7&start=60

hmm.. so its only a matter of time...
just checked warranty and it ended on 8/12/10
looks like i'll have to wait till it messes up to call up lenovo.
