You have come to the right place...but it is hard to part with this excellent model. You are actually looking for a 15" T60p.
Good Luck in your hunt.

I'd suggest you have a look at the thread FS: Beautiful MINT T60 ThinkPads with 15" SXGA+ Flexview.

Re: Where can i buy a T60 in max configuration?
I heard that t60p has more powerful videocard. I dont need a powerful videocard, i prefer a longer battery life.
And i want to install Linux so ATI videocard is not diserable (due to problems with ATI driver in Linux).

Re: Where can i buy a T60 in max configuration?
Before you decide what you "want", I's suggest that you make yourself a lttle more aware of what T60's are really available; e.g. through having a look in the Personal Systems Reference, Lenovo ThinkPad® Notebooks, 2005 to present - withdrawn, August 2011 - Version 404. There you will find the different T60's that were/are available, incl. specifications for the graphic cards. Beware that the V5200/V5250 GPU's runs much more hot compared to the integrated GPU's and compared to the 64 MB X1300 and the 128 MB X1400 (hot GPU = more fan noise).Clathink wrote:I heard that t60p has more powerful videocard. By the way, did you notice the sub-forum dedicated to Linux Questions? If not, it might pay off to "go there", and do a bit of browsing...
Finally, kindly allow me to point your attention to this very useful search-script made by HarryC - try it out, and you'll learn how to find answers to many questions... such as "T60 linux GPU" etc.; questions already answered in great detail!

Well, if you want Intel graphics combined with an IPS screen, you'll have to buy a FrankenPad or build one yourself.
The above combination was not offered by Lenovo on regular basis...

It's a pity that Intel/IPS is so difficult to get, as was also true in the T4x/R5x...at least they let one buy the T520 with the top-tier screen and Intel graphics, though it's still no IPS...
Could've sworn the T60 with the SXGA+ 15" IPS was available with the GMA950; maybe it required the X1300? The non-"p" T60/IPS combos are frequently forgotten...

Re: Where can i buy a T60 in max configuration?
Oh, GMA 950 will run both SXGA+ and UXGA on a 15", make no mistake about that, but Lenovo just didn't offer the combination(s) to us mortals at the time...
Now, if you were a "preferred customer" and were ordering 500+ pieces, they would've slapped it together for you, just like IBM used to in the T4x days...
$$$ talks...

Re: Where can i buy a T60 in max configuration?
Clathink, I'll be receiving my T60p ($335 shipped) today with the specs below from an ebay seller which has been excellent to work with since they not only respond emails very quickly but provide a phone number to answer any question you may have. This is the first time I'm buying from them so I have no prior experience but the laptop is arriving today so I can follow up and report on it if you wish. They seem to have quite a few of these units with the only variable being the size of the harddrive. The seller is laptopcomponents out of Gaithersburg, MD.
Model: T60p
Processor: Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.33 GHz
Hard Drive Size: 160 GB Hard Drive @ 7200 RPM
RAM (Memory): 2 GB (2048 MB)
Screen Size: 15" 1400x1050 LCD
512 MB ATi FireGL V5250
I have no affiliation with the seller at all just helping out, thanks,

Looks like he is now charging for shipping?
WOW he has a TON of these in various configurations.
Re: Where can i buy a T60 in max configuration?
Well I received my "new" T60p and it is in absolutely excellent condition, the screen is nice and bright!! Two things that caught me by surprise is that it was a T7600 and not a T7200 (it was probably a typo since it was advertised at 2.33GHz) and it came with the Thinkpad badge on the lid and plam rest, not the IBM badge. The specs on the unit:Prodeje79 wrote:Please report back!

May pull the trigger!
I may go for 100GB drive model for $299 instead.
Figure I may snag a SSD sometime.
Also could bump up to 3GB or 4GB RAM someday.
so you got free shipping?!?!??!
EDIT: I wrote seller.
A bunch of their shipments came up missing with USPS. They now use Fedex and charge $9.
