r51 2 beeps on boot

I have a r51 that I replaced the hdd with a samsung hs160hd. I am getting 2 beeps at startup and resource conflict pci controller on mobo bus 2 device 1 function 0. I posted this earlier but thought I was getting the error before I replaced the hdd. I have upgraded the mt 1000 driver. It seems to run fine if I hit esc when this message pops up but I would like to fix it. Please help.

Would the HD be set to Slave instead of Master (or even Cable-Select, which will not work)?

Ill check that out. I know the error code location is the ethernet adapter.
