What model type and number is your new T60P?

Did you buy it from a friend, or CL?

I don't know how it happened but I was trying to post the preceding post in the "New T60p for me!!" thread. Unfortunately I've created an orphan thread.

Hey it's probably one of the later models since it has the "Thinkpad" badging instead of the IBM but:

Model: T60p - 2007YS3
Chipset: Intel i945GM/PM/GMS/GT 940GML
Southbridge: Intel ICH7M/ICH7U
Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.33 GHz T7600
Hard Drive Size: 160 GB Hard Drive
RAM (Memory): 2 GB (2048 MB) @ 7200 RPM
Screen Size: 15" 1400x1050 LCD
512 MB ATi FireGL V5250

Ordered it on ebay from a very reputable seller who has multiple units with the same configurations just different size hard drives.

Thanks, jdom58, for rescuing the orphan from the storm.

That sounds like a fine unit, with the Core2Duo, and seems to be in great shape.

Good move!

These are very fine machines indeed - I own a couple that came from a different source - and am very pleased with performance...
