X3100 in 10.7 stutters but QE is working...??

I have 10.7 Installed on my T61 with a X3100. The drivers are the native Lion drivers and Quartz is working, however it's sluggish... opening and closing windows and the ripple effect for the Dashboard is all jerky... Quartz is working, but it seems like maybe I need a better driver?? Is Lion is too much for the X3100, or are there better drivers available for the X3100 in Lion? 10.6 also see's the X3100 and uses the native drivers and that runs great, the water ripple effect is smooth. Ideas?

Please check my post about X61 and Lion. Maybe it will help you. I had problems with X3100 and sluggish graphics and solved it by replacing AppleIntelGMAX3100FB.kext and updating to 10.7.2.

Thanks, using your Intel Kext from 10.6.8 fixed the issue. I also used some of your other kext's which got the Battery Status working, stopped all the crashing, and enabled the Ethernet. Cheers mate
