#1 Post by achat_2 » Sat Oct 15, 2011 4:35 pm

Is there any known and free of risk method to remove a pen ink mark from an LCD?

Ball point pen? Or, indelible marker?

Not sure what will work. I generally use a mixture of about 50% 99% pure isopropyl alcohol and 50% water with a drop of dish washing detergent to clean LCD screens. I'm thinking straight isopropyl might take the ink off, but I don't recall actually trying it, so it might be a little harsh on the LCD. Or maybe not.

Isopropyl alcohol will take it right off. I use it all the time on my LCDs without any problems.
I'M DONE WITH THINKPADS, JUST DONE!!!
