Be forewarned that you might bump into issues running a 15" FlexView off of the integrated graphic chipset that you have...I wouldn't recommend it.
Lenovo hasn't (to the best of my belief at least) offered that combination on a T60, or any previous IBM models...there's a reason for it.
IMHO, selling your machine and getting a proper T60 with discreet graphics and 15" SXGA+ is a much better idea...
Just my $0.02...

Like what George says, also to the best of my knowledge no SXGA+ T60's with the GMA950 (= the integrated "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950" chipset) were offered by Lenovo. If, however, inspecting the Personal Systems Reference Lenovo ThinkPad Notebooks 2005 to present (withdrawn), March 2008, Version 337 you will see that the following three T60's: 6369-3HU and 6369-38U and 6371-7DU (NB: The ltwbook for the latter model does not agree with this direct product link?!) are all 15.4" WSXGA+ (1680x1050) and came with the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950! Then, if looking at the specifications for the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 you will see that it support up to 2048 x 1536 resolution. Finally, if inspecting the IBM Announcement Letter New TopSeller ThinkPad T60 notebooks include one-year depot warranties - United States Hardware Announcement 107-147, March 27, 2007 you will read there the following:ajkula66 wrote:Be forewarned that you might bump into issues running a 15" FlexView off the integrated graphic chipset that you have... The parts you will need to swap can be found in the 15 inch LCD service parts - ThinkPad T60, T60p. I just checked on eBay --> here that e.g. a new LG-Phillips SXGA+ panel can be found for around $150,- Before ordering an either LG-Phillips or BOE Hydis FlexView/IPS panel (the latter is FRU =13N7196), I would STRONGLY advice you to spend some time in the T6x forum and read about users recommendation of LG-Phillips versus BOE Hydis panels - and particularly pay attention to the reports about certain (annoying!) "sparkling effects" with one of these panels - see e.g. the thread Disappointing 15" Flexview screen.
Good luck with this upgrade (if you go ahead with it...); I am absolutely sure you will enjoy SXGA+ FlexView/IPS over your present XGA. Final suggestion: If you feel unsafe about making this modification (display/panel swap, incl. replacement of inverter etc.), I wholehearted recommend that you contact "our own James"; user jamipahr who offer any kind of laptop service and upgraded (see James' thread LCD CCFL Backlight Repair/GPU Rework - I'll fix it for you! and find contact information there).
Best regards,
Johan

I've never said that it wouldn't work, I'm just very much so doubting that OP will be able to get to the full potential of that IPS LCD with the integrated chip...and as we all know, there's a lot more that affects the end result than just the amount of VRAM...
