Re: T60p win7 and 4965AGN
Error 52 is usually from non-signed drivers. If it tells you during install that the driver is not signed, click on ignore/continue anyway. Try looking for a Vista driver or accept the M$ driver. Or get another wifi card with W7 drivers, such as Intel 5100/5200/6100/6200/6300 etc. The drivers are s...

T60p win7 and 4965AGN
I just installed a Seagate ST50LX003-1AC154, in my T60p and reinstalled Win7 64 bit. But this time around I seem to be having issues. When I attempt to install the Intel drivers from Lenovo, I get an error 52

Re: iPad instead of x200 series?
hmm I have a T60p and an iPad, the camera kit has been turned into a joke by Apple. Apple has chosen to limit the output power of the iPad to 10 ma. This means most USB flash drives no longer work, unless you run it through a powered hub. Most keyboards will not work for the same reason... If you ja...

Re: Windows 7 on T60p - 32-bit or 64-bit
For what little it maybe worth, I've upgraded my T60p to Windows 7 with 4 GB of ram. I find on the whole it is faster and more stable than the 32 bit OS I've run on my T60p... Me I'm happy with my upgrade, and I still find my T60p meets my needs... Yes I can not use all my memory, but I can use sign...

This creates an issue with RDC and you may get an invalid certificate warning. (WHS gives such a warning) workaround is to change options in RDC| Options | Advance | to Connect and don't warn me, hit save

Thinking about buying a T61, comparison to a T60p
I'm thinking about buying a refurbished T61, my only real reference is my T60p I'm curious as to feedback on how important that "p" is? What kind of video performance numbers can I expect in Vista/win7?
Thank you

Re: How does GreenpoisOn Jailbreak work with an iPhone4?
Harry, Jailbreaking is a very easy process now. All current firware versions through 4.2.1 can be Jailbroken. 1 - Ensure you're on iTunes 10 2 - http://www.limera1n.com 3 - Download and run The Limerain program walks you through the steps as it works. The only thing you have to do as the user is pr...

Re: How does GreenpoisOn Jailbreak work with an iPhone4?
To be honest I've not tried Limera1n on 4.2.1, and the web page just offers a download, no details... I was under the impression that geohot had move on to Sony, and while it was reported that he had a version of ra1n available for the 4.2.1 iOS I had not heard that it was actually released. So if y...

Re: How does GreenpoisOn Jailbreak work with an iPhone4?
I've been doing this for a while, and to the best of my knowledge there are no tools in the wild to clone a phone. These kind of tools, exist at the government level where agents of governments can create a clone phone, with the info the telco has about your phone. But end users don't have access to...

Re: How does GreenpoisOn Jailbreak work with an iPhone4?
The key here is to sync your device to the newest iTunes first, as part of that sync it will backup your iDevice to iTunes, then you reimage your device, by pressing and holding shift while clicking on restore (this permits one to select the modify image stored on your computer) and once this comple...

Re: T60P (2613ETU) and 12.5 hard drives the Western 1 TB
There are a couple of users that claim to have added one to a T61 (one as in a 650 GB 12.5 mm). That is why I am asking about the T60p, it would depend on how the 1 TB drive is made I believe. If it is a uniform 12.5 mm thick it will not fit :( but if the sides are 9 mm and it buldges over the platt...

Re: Windows 7 on T Series
At this time I would recommend NOT installing the 6jc705us Access Connections software. There are reports of this software causing memory leaks in both 32 & 64 bit Windows 7.
The older 6jc703us version works, but has limitations. I'm running a T60p and for the most part prefer Windows 7.

The Windows 7 Beta drivers can be found here. Lenovo released several updated Beta Drivers within the last few days. Unfortunately they are not indicating when they are releasing new drivers. I forgot to mention that this utility wouldn't install under 64bit OS (Vista or XP). So, if you want to modify anything 64bit, you will have to modify it under a 32bit OS, then save the modified files on an external media. You should then be able to install it under 64bit OS ;) I am running Vista 6...
