Which Intel SSD actually comes with the ThinkPad T420
I'm looking at buying a ThinkPad 420 but cannot find out which model Intel SSD it comes with when you choose the Intel SSD option. The Lenovo site just says "Intel 160 GB Solid State Drive, Serial ATA". I asked a salesperson in the online chat and they didn't know. I called Tech Support and they sai...

Atmel TPM
Thanks, that fixed it (the second listing went away and everything looks good in device manager). Unfortunately it looks like audio was not related to the unknown device as there still is no audio in Windows. I'll start a new thread in a bit specifically regarding the audio problem (all drivers inst...

Atmel TPM driver problem
Thanks for the info and link. However, after installing the driver I have a new problem. I now have two instances of "Atmel TPM" under "Sytem devices" and one of them has an exclamation point with the error: This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for thi...

"Unknown device" in device manager: ACPI\ATM1200
I have a T60 with a clean install of Win XP SP 2 (not from Lenovo) and required drivers installed (as far as I can tell). However, I'm having trouble with one device in device manager showing as "Unknown device": Location: on Intel(R) 82801GBM (ICH7-M) LPC Interface Controller - 27B9 Device ID: ACPI...

seeplus, Yes you can drag the monitors around so they have the right orientation, but which one is "primary" is important as that's the one that has the start menu and task bar. Personally I can't stand having a taskbar and start menu on the right screen. Also apps pop-up on the same monitor they we...

Swap Primary display on T60 with two external monitors
My T60 swapped the primary display when using two external monitors in the mini-dock (dvi and vga). I've always had the primary as DVI and then yesterday after working with a secondary display while not docked my displays when re-docked are swapped. I can't figure out how to swap them back. In the A...

Screen flicker on dual-screen analog
My screen flickers when using dual screen with the dock. I have a T60 with ATI graphics and when I'm using the docking station with two external LCD's (one dvi one vga) both Dell 1905FP. I just got the computer a few weeks ago and all drivers are up to date (I even updated the bios with the 11/20 up...
