Are you getting a password prompt? Hitting enter makes the prompt go away but then changes in the BIOS are blocked.

Yep. Even the ones on aliexpress are good quality. It's hard to find genuine "new in box" ones nowadays, but not impossible.

T410, 420, W510, 520, X220 are all the same part number.

Seasonshu: Try touching the FHD board slightly with your finger when the computer is on. If you get any sign of lines/glitches/flicker than the soldering to the pins is insufficient.

Yep. The aux wire used to be soldered to one of the 4 neighboring pads in the bottom middle. Rev 4 and 5 has a pad on the very left bottom, which you solder the white aux wire to.
