Well, the settings for the a/b/g/n card is a bit different from on that page, I did change the setting for the gigabit lan... sucks how this is a problem that you can never be sure it's fixed cause i don't know how to trigger ...

And what does Access Connections do that the Windows tool can't?

My T60p (the atheros a/b/g/n?) occasionally has issues connecting to my wireless, and reports that it gets like 15% signal and refuses to connect to the router, even if it's right next to it, or reports a strong signal but says "good signal but access point is not associated" or something like that....

So, I'm sorry for everyone who ordered the T61 and is getting massive delays, but, for my custom T60p Widescren, Lenovo was actually pretty bitchingly awesome for me. The initial estimate was 9 weeks, then they told me that was a bug in the system and it would really be 2-3 weeks, and then it ended...

Well it's not completely useless, but I dont see the need for most of it. I'd maybe install the hard drive shock detecting thing, the wireless profile configuration thing, and perhaps the battery power management thing.. not much else.

Should I even bother keeping the recovery partition?

Wow, I must say I'm pretty impressed, got my T60p this morning at 10am and I'm all the way on the east coast. It's very nice but I'm readying to reinstall windows to remove all of this bloatware (it's running 84 processes!) The screen is perfectly fine in terms of brightness and view angle, no worse...

I was looking for the 160gb 7200rpm drive with the perpendicular recording thing that makes it fast. Haven't been able to find it.

In that case, I will not buy a 7200rpm drive at the moment and look further in the performance difference, thanks for the advice.
