I had 10.4.8 on the same laptop, and I recall it was much easier to get QE and CI support.

Unfortunately, all the FAQ's and how-to's that I've seen are rather outdated. They work fine with 10.4.8, but things have changed with 10.5.2. The file layout has changed a bit, and instructions to look for certain Info.plist strings, etc. no longer work.

What OS, Anthony? I'm running 8.343.0.0 on 32-bit Vista (dated Feb 9 2007) with no stability issues whatsoever. In fact, I spent a few hours yesterday re-acquainting myself with Homeworld 2. This is on my 2623-DDU T60p with the FireGL V5200.

Power-on to Vista boot loader: 12 seconds
Vista boot loader to Vista login screen: 28 seconds
Vista login screen to power-off via "Shutdown" command: 8 seconds

F12 boot device screen to OS X 10.4.8 Finder: 22 seconds

No issues with high CPU temperatures here either... I usually see 50 to 51'C while idling in the Finder. This is with the battery meter and basic power management working on the 2623-DDU.
