Do share with us as well please :) I just got the bios to download off of box.com for my T420s. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/j0vg116tq7nwfuc/AAAokzr8tR6GM2gSrWtvb5Hfa?dl=0 It also has the latest T420s official bios and a WL remove bios also in the link. Good for you. box.com has some ridiculous monthly download limits. Must have been midnight of new month somewhere ;)

Re: Interest in upgrade your T420/T420s/T430/T430s to FHD 1080p

I'm in for a kit for t420s. Here is a list of modded BIOS with changes and links (Including one for T420s with witelist and RAM speed selection) - http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Custom_BIOS#Whitelist_Removed_BIOSes It's a simple process, instructions are usually included. Don't get your hopes up for...

I'm interested in the FHD board for my T420s. If you could send me a PM with payment address that'd be great. On another note, whats the advantage of upgrading the wireless card? Any suggestions for the upgrade? Will this need a modded bios? I'm unable to find a modded T420s bios that allows whitel...

@sqmaster1234 Try find them in taobao.com and use the third party agen taobaoring.com The site is in chinese language, but I believe google translate will help. I found the lock for my t420 from that site as well. Interesting, never heard of taobaoring, I'll look into that. Thanks! :) Or get e.g. a...

Hey, i just read this, and immediately typed gibberish into chrome, and no ads. But when I typed "laptop" i got piles of 'em. Maybe it's a keyword thing, or does this happen for all of your searches? Every TP I've owned came with a (What I thought was) standard Cat's tongue cap, and never use anything else. I'm much more partial to any trackpad than to a touchpad, I like being able to drag&drop as far as i want. The touchpad on my Eee is too small, I have to lift my finger to move a file/folder ...

Does anyone have a set of OS/2 Warp 4 diskettes they wouldn't mind parting with?
Mine are all written over, and all I have now are the 2.0 upgrade disks. If this should be in the buying area I'm sorry, i thought the OS/2 board seemed fitting.

Re: How long can a ThinkPad last?

My ThinkPads never get thrown out or sold, ans usually last (not an everyday driver) for 10+ years. 770z is in mechanically pristine condition, with a 2 HOUR battery life. It honestly runs cooler, longer and more reliably than my EeePC. Depending on whether you use it as a carry-around work computer...
