I’m pretty lost here now.. According to the spec from Hitachi this hdd are suppose to have 2MB cache.. it is that all this program can't see this cache memory or is it that most of use have a bad hdd..??

well on the X41.. there is a 1.8" hdd.. and what i know here is no 1.8" hdd that runes at 72000rpm.. or have i missed something..??

Firstly, you should copy the folder i386 to the other partition. Secondly, You ought to install Vfloppy(search google if you donnot know what it is). Then boot to DOS, format c partition.
