Marketplace bump feature appears only once.

Bump feature only appeared after the first 72 hours, doesn't reappear. The way it's described, it should re-set every 72 hours.

Is it okay to bump in the thread?

TIA.

Re: WARNING: x220 bluetooth driver possibly corrupt.

Thanks for the info, it sucks this happened to others but good to hear that I'm not losing my mind. I did however give up last night after recovering my files (used Get Data Back, thumbs up on this program), as I was just too furious to deal with it. Doing product recovery now. I'll try uninstalling...

Potential data wipe while updating x220 bluetooth driver.

EDIT: If the installer fails, when it rolls back to the previous driver is when the wipe occurs. I wasn't able to duplicate my original issue but simply canceling the install halfway did the trick. Apparently people are still having a problem with bt drivers on the T series over on lenovo forums. __...

Just to make sure, you do not have the shiney plastic piece that goes on the lid? Nope. At least on my X32, this piece only shows power and sleep icons. Someone asked me before if I had the reverse plate (the piece we're talking about now, the one I don't have) with wifi/bt. Frankly, I don't much s...

SOLD: IBM Travelstar 20GB - X22 pre-load XP Pro

Sold the computer with a larger, blanked drive, found the old one. Still has the original partition on it with XP Pro; COA, activation code included. Never made recovery disks with this, but I'm not sure you could with these models? EDIT (Thanks, George!): $40 shipped. I'm asking more than what the ...

This is the sticker that goes underneath the display to show the status of the wireless and bluetooth icons. All models have the lights, but are only active if the appropriate card is installed. Can be used on X32 model also, but it says X31 to the far right. Simple to swap. $5 shipped Also have the...

X22 maxes out at 640MB RAM. Still, plenty fast.

I think your money would be much better spent maxing out the ram to 2GB. Cheaper, and probably better in terms of performance.

I paid around $50 for the whole bit (plate, card, antenna, shipping), direct from IBM.

Have an extra plate for an X31 if anybody wants it. $5 shipped.

Which drivers (stack) are you using for the bluetooth?

IIRC, the thinkpad/toshiba stack will support the headset profile, where the MS stack will not.

FS: Thinkpad 560X with 560 parts machine and lots of acc.

This was my first laptop, so I'm sad to see it go. However, it's far too antiquated for any of my needs, and I'm just not using it. It's a 200Mhz MMX with 96MB of RAM (I'll need to verify this), and comes with a 560 parts machine and a spare LCD. Note: none of the screens are active matrix; one is H...

If all you need to do is run activesync, use the Microsoft bluetooth stack. They worked perfectly for me on an x30 with the BMDC IV (Hermes) and a Moto Q. My problem with the MS drivers is that it won't support the HID profile so I can use the Q as a remote. The Widcom drivers work fine for that, bu...

If battery life is the more important, go with the X30. If you do graphics stuff, go with the X24. If you max out the ram on the X30, you really won't have a problem unless you're doing 3D stuff. Personally, I like the look of the X24 better, but the X30 feels a bit sturdier. I have an X30 with slic...
