Sorry about the delay. I forgot that yesterday was Tuesday and my daughter had Jazz, and my son had Scouts...crazy busy...

After initially posting this thread, I found my box of 600 parts... Is there something specific that you're looking for? I can most likely assemble something for you.

I too could trust Steve (tfflivemb2) with my life :)
I bought several rare thinkpads and ALL off them are in excellent condition.
Besides, he packs them EXTREMELY well and is a very honest person, pleasure to just communicate! :)

P.S. I just realized we could say same thing about another Steve (hwattys) too :) :) :) I am a proud owner of 360PE !

To those who recently asked about specs...its going to have to wait until Sunday at the earliest. I apologize. Between work and now dealing with a divorce, my hands and time are tied.

No worries about any delay, clearly I've created one of my own.

A 600 is a unit I read a lot about here and would like to have a specimen of my own. I'm not out for anything specific, but I would enjoy a working model. XGA and Pentium II+ if possible, optical bay would be preferred as well, but a floppy disk module wouldn't be unwelcome. RAM shouldn't matter; I've got a few 128 MB SO-DIMMs lying around here. Let me know what the possibilities are - and what you're looking for price-wise, and that'll help me decide. :)

Ouch. For a guy committed to taking care of so many thinkpads, really sorry to hear that. Will keep track of your thread/ museum.

Good afternoon all,

I am looking at reviving this thread to see if there was still any interest. Since the original post, I have moved twice, and now remarried and into a house with sufficient room, but think its time to part with these now...before they are TOO told to be appreciated.

I will warn you, I am extremely rusty when it comes to working on Thinkpads. For example, I pulled out a T23, and found out that it has the better screen (1400x1050) and built in wireless. I popped a hard drive in from another T23, and Windows XP loaded. It found the correct drivers, except for the Intel WiFi card. Machine is in pretty good shape. I just don't feel like relearning things to get the wireless up and running.

So, if you are interested, I would entertain serious offers. Shipping is still US only, and shipping costs will be ball parked depending on location.

Have a great day!

EDIT: As I have started fielding questions on the remaining machines, I've lost comfort in my knowledge of them. To those that have reached out, you can tell I've stumbled a little bit, in making sure the specs are correct. I think I will just spend time going through them again, and update this post once I am more comfortable. Sorry....

Hullo Steve -- it's been a while since we spoke last. You are the only person on this forum that I have actually met, physically! I remember all the help you gave me more than a decade and a half ago (including coming out to visit me) when I was making my first forays into the Thinkpad world. I'm always grateful for the advice and help. Since you have revived this thread, I'm wondering if you will be posting a list of the remaining Thinkpads in your collection at your convenience. And congratulations on the new life!

As always,

Hello sudevan! It has been a while, hasn't it?

Anyway, I started this up again, then hit the brakes, because I was trying to answer questionss on a couple of them, and felt overwhelmed with not knowing exactly what the details were on each.

However, for you, since you are close enough, I'd be interested in dealing with you...because we could meet up and you could touch them with your own two hands and make a decision. And no worries over shipping

For the most part, the list should be accurate, except I am not finding the 500 series that are listed. I also have a T-0 that is loaded, but won't turn on
