Hello sir,

I sent you a private message but i'm not sure why it sits in the Outbox folder instead of going into the sent folder. Anyhow, i recently bought a excellent condition T400 for which came from the factory with WIndows Vista Business 32 bit. How can i go about obtaining the recovery image from you. I'm excited that i can restore the computer back to it's factory specs as the original software that came from lenovo really makes for a true nostalgic experience.

Private Messages stay in your Outbox until the recipient has read them.

Done it few times already. It requires modification of configuration files, so recovery would expect only a single "container", instead of a few ones.

I could sure use a set of factory recovery discs for an A31p, 2653-R6U.

I would be willing to pay for a burned disc with the OS and drivers. I own the machine and have the COA.

I typically share ISOs online for speed and ease of distribution, but can burn and mail a disk if you prefer. Let me know.

On-line is good too.

If I understand correctly this will restore the A31p to out of the box IBM spec?

This one has XP Pro.

That's all the same set. You can still get them from Lenovo ($$) if terminator does not have them.

@ theterminator93.

Hi, your T530 set is good for the T430 and W530 as well. I'm glad I figured out the disc numbering on that set.

Interested in obtaining a t410 win 7 recovery set. Need to build an image. I also have a relic T41 laptop that i would like to try putting something like OS/2 on it. Thank you ! I know i am new to the forum but will contribute more as i own 2 T410 and 1 T41. I grew up with an old 486 thinkpad and a P-133 thinkpad. Those were the days.

Although I am not sure, I think i can create a win7 recovery then run the win10 upgrade and all the drivers will carry over? Cheers, Brett

I do have a few OS's for A20m. I don't have anything for 380Z specifically but one of the sets I have for that machine's "cousins" may work. Take a look at my list in post 1 and let me know if you want to try anything.

Thank you in advance for sharing your collection.

I am restoring a new IBM 765L. I think the 760XL win95 backup in English will work for my model.

Thank you!!

I just found this thread from someone on Reddit, and would like to share the recovery media for my R52 (Intel GMA; no ATI), yes, it's a US English image with Windows XP Professional (as far as I know), and are "Create recovery media" discs.

One CD for the recovery media, and one DVD for the factory image. My R52 was manufactured in late 2005, so there are bits of Lenovo branding in the image.

I heard from someone that these are the same images used on the T43, or are cross compatible with that, but I may need to check the part numbers in the HMMs I have on hand in order to confirm.

If you're interested, please DM me.

T43 and R52 sets are interchangeable.
And AFAIK you could also run those on the Z60 (which is basically a T43 with SATA ex-factory) with some extra drivers.

Well that's neat! I'd send a PM, but I only found this forum today while I was, funnily enough, looking for the recovery disk for an IBM 770ED. And I only found this post after opening a new thread asking for an image. I suppose I'll delete that then
