FS: 14.1 T601 FrankenPad (Intel GPU, LED mod, maxed out)

I would like to sell my 14.1-inch 4:3 FrankenPad (Intel motherboard and other bottom parts from T61, display assembly from T60). I built it for myself some time ago, carefully restoring and upgrading to the max (apart from 8GB RAM, which is super expensive). It’s a really nice little vintage machine, surprisingly usable even in 2025.

Specs/mods:

- CPU: Intel T9500 2.6 GHz
- RAM: 4GB
- GPU: Intel GMA X3100
- Storage: 240GB Crucial BX500 SSD
- Display: Toshiba 1400x1050 with LED mod. Significantly brighter than CCFL, colors are more vivid. There is one dead pixel and some subtle backlight bleeding in the bottom of screen, both are not noticeable during normal use (see photos)
- Intel AC8265 WIFI (2.4G/5G 802.11ac 867Mbps)
- Classic T60/T61 keyboard
- Two batteries: regular and Ultrabay, both hold charge very well
- OS: Windows 10 Pro, with all drivers installed
- Original Lenovo charger included



The laptop is excellent condition, with almost no wear, the keyboard has no shiny keys. Again, I built it for myself, as a "museum-grade" thing basically. I even went as far as to buying a new-old-stock top lid to make the machine pristine, although it has two spots where the rubberized finish is of slightly different color (due to glue from masking tape that was holding the WIFI cables for 18 years ) - can be seen on the photos.

Also needs to be mentioned that the laptop doesn’t automatically go to sleep when lid is closed. Not sure if this is software or hardware related.
