This is the holy grail board. Permanent NVIDIA FIX. (hence new part number)

FACTORY NEW NVIDIA CHIP, not rebuilt. production date 2011-02-28

This has the most powerful motherboard with fastest NVIDIA Gpu chip. FX570m. This is the core of the highest spec frankenpad possible, with 4:3 screen, will hold penryn 9500 cpu or greater, and 8GB ram.

NOS, never touched or plugged in, with original undamaged IBM box with a production date 2011-02-28 (Feburary 28, 2011, long after the August 2008 date generally accepted as when all the bad nVidia chips were replaced.

It is new production, not refurbished and I have all the original packaging including the IBM manual. I may add photos at a later date if necessary.

for t60, t61 4:3 machines or make frankenpad with t60 15".

I will probably regret selling this. I may be calling in 2 years begging to buy it back... But I would rather see it used then sit in a box and I am too busy these days.

PS: I believe the old part numbers for the boards with the bad faulty FX570M Nvidia chips (which nearly bankrupted NVIDIA) were 72w7650 and/or 72w7874. I could be wrong about those nunbers. In any case those are the bad boards with NVIDIA fault that is not properly repairable, as it was a design defect. Some of them may have been refurbished by IBM, I don't know. IN any case what I am selling has a new part number not seen in the HMM because it was produced 3 years after NVIDIA disaster and is free of defects. They wanted a new part number I suppose, so they could tell which boards were made with the new chips. IN any case, on the NVIDIA chip itself, which is soldered to the board, there is a production date of 2011, which proves it is not faulty and nobody ever had any problems with these. They are very rare. I bought it to make the ultimate t601p. As it turned out, I have not yet gotten around to it and I feel this should be used by someone now.
