Good luck selling at that price! Maybe I can get $800 for my 600X. (Any takers? It has a 40GB... never mind.)

You might want to look at finished auctions on ebay to see what that machine is commonly selling for. Your prospective buyers will.

You might also include some more details like what CPU is in the machine, who you are, if the OS is licensed, any kind of warranty you offer, etc. You're not paying by the word here.

Maybe it's just me but $33 for shipping seems insane.

I sure agree about the shipping. The USPS has an any-weight Priority box for $7.50 MAX and it will hold a well protected ThinkPad for anywhere in the US.
Ditto the tip to check eBay completed auctions. I just bought a plain vanilla 600 for $35.00 including shipping.

I checked eBay earlier and the highest priced 600E that was getting bids was priced at around $100. Also, sometimes, if you say that shipping is included in the asking price, if you do your math right, you can significantly raise asking price and actually increase profit margins somewhat.

If I were you, I'd try selling the unit for around $120 with shipping included and if there are no takers then negotiate down.
