What is your model/type number?

Did your system come with Win2K or WinXP?

I have copies of the Win2K disks.

Same Deal but with a T22

Have a T22 with XP and want to upgrade the HD so I guess I'll need the recovery disks as well. I also have Win 2K license so whichever is reasonable.

If you want to keep your XP got to www.acronis.com and get true image 9.0. They give you a 15 day free trial. That is long enough to get your hard drive contents transferred.

AH, you must be the one that emailed me. I thought that you were looking for XP disks. Yes, I can send you a copy. Just send me your address.

Hi, welcome to the forum!!

What OS did your T21 originally come with? Do you still have the COA on the bottom? What is the full Model/Type number for it (ie. 2647-4BU)

Need Recovery Disks

#11 Post by lamina » Thu Jun 15, 2006 6:19 pm

I also have a T23. Type 2347-9KU. IBM will not sell me any of these disks. Does anyone have them? The Laptop I bought off ebay did not come with anything. It came with XP pro on it(off ebay), however, the original OS was W2Kpro. If anyone can sell me these disks that would be great

Thanks in advance,

~Mike

I have the Win98SE Restore Disks, if you'd like a copy...infact, mine is the exact same model. Just PM with your info, and I should be able to send them out to you tomorrow.

Yes, I mailed it last friday, along with the disks for several other members. They rec'd each theirs yesterday, but since you are in Canada, it might take another day or two.

Sorry, I must have forgotten to PM you.
