A20p was SXGA+, A21p and A22p were UXGA. However, all of them were 15" units. As for 770 series, I believe that it was 770Z that had SXGA as an option but I'm not all that familiar with these systems so I may very well be wrong.edik wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2019 1:49 pm
Is that so? Well, you learn something new every day... I know just a little less resolution (SXGA?) was fitted to the high-end 770X's - probably just before the T22 time by a year. Think the A20p had an option for UXGA? It was at least SXGA(+) around the same time (2000 mid).

You are correct about the A-series. For the 13.7" display, it was available on the 770X and Z models and it was a ready to order option unlike QXGA on the R50p.
Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.
The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.
