Lenovo Support Site Issues

#1 Post by emeraldgirl08 » Fri Mar 01, 2013 9:08 am

Could someone with a TX00-era or earlier ThinkPad try entering in their model numbers into Lenovo Support's 'quick path?' Normally doing so will retrieve the factory hardware specs that are tied to the ThinkPad in question. I was looking up a particular TP and it returned zilch. I tried entering another and got the same results. I then tried entering my personal TP's model numbers and zilch again. Just want to know if it is happening elsewhere as well. TIA.

Just tried 2647-HNU (T23), 9450-A1U (Z61p) and 7675-55U (X61). All returned what looks to be the correct information. May have been a temporary glitch??

It works with W7 but does not want to work with my W8 installation. I tried using a different browser and it returns zilch. FF is updated and turning off adblock has no effect either.

Slightly annoying and perplexing :??:

I'll give it a little time and check on it later. Perhaps it might return to normal operation in a couple of hours. Thanks for checking all :)
