how do I enable pressure sensitivity on GIMP 4 X230 tablet?

I am using GIMP 2.8.4. I updated to the latest multitouch input driver.
I have a ThinkPad X230 convertible tablet with wacom pen.
All I see that might be relevant on GIMP menu is "Dynamics" under which is box filled "Pressure Opacity"

It doesn't matter how I fiddle around with it. It still applies same opacity. How do I change this?

never mind. solved it.
