I have about 20 years experience on X, T, and legacy series Thinkpads. Now there are so many other less expensive ones.
I'm looking for a Lenovo laptop for a high-school student that is small (11-12 inch screen or so, could go bigger), rugged (might get bumped around commuting to school), lighter in weight (will have to be carried in heavy backpack with books). Mostly for word processing so can be low performance. Don't need high-performance gaming, graphics capability.
If someone could point me to the right area of the newer series Thinkpads I'd appreciate it.
Take a look at our
