Keyboard choice/reccomendations

#1 Post by Whitieiii » Sun Feb 17, 2019 2:58 am

I'm needing to get a new keyboard since my old one doesn't work for me.. was wanting to know if anyone as used a Tex Yoda II keyboard? I'm thinking of getting one with Cherry MX Green key switches thoughts? If you also have different reccomendations for keyboards with mx greens let me know I'm wanting backlight and stiffer keys so that's why I'm switching from my das keyboard

Tex Yoda II? You're considering a "keyboard" with no function keys, no arrow keys, no navigation block? Are you joking or genuinely out of your mind? :)

Have a look at DREVO
Their various KBs come with all sorts of different switches, Cherry MX, Outemu, Gateron, etc.

I'm using their mechanical 88-key Tenkeyless Drevo Tyrving V2 with Outemu brown switches and UK-English layout.
Obviously I have switched off the Xmas lights (don't need those), but that KB is otherwise perfect for my needs.
Since I use only two fingers for typing and use this keyboard mainly for posting on forums or making emails,
it doesn't have to be absolute top-of-the-line and it was quite cheap.

For green Cherry MX switches, also check e.g. Ducky One, Vortex et al
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
But I actually prefer Murphy's from Cork!
