Alerts about T61P release/order date?

I am writing to ask whether people can suggest how I can find out as soon as the T61P is available for ordering. I have been checking the Lenovo website everyday. Is there some other way? Is new availability (for the T61P in this case) posted on any particular webpages? Could I be added to a list somewhere of people who are notified when the T61P is available for ordering? I'd appreciate any info/suggestions. Of course, if anyone has any recent/new info that indicates a possible release date, please feel free to post that info too!

in the past I have used the phone to call a sales rep, they can give you some information, also I remember when I ordered one (think it was my t60) I received an email from the rep who replied to all my emails about shipping times and questions I had regarding my order, very good guy, wish I still had his email for you, but it's long since deleted.

Thanks for your reply. I've tried calling before. Unfortunately, sometimes I'm on hold for five, ten, fifteen minutes - even half an hour, it seems - before I hang up.

Any other ideas about places to look or sign up for forthcoming product info/release dates, for the T61P in this case?

You are pretty much guaranteed to see a post on the T6x forum here within an hour or two of the T61p availability announcement.
