Why can't I use my bluetooth mouse?

#1 Post by rocketman » Wed Dec 08, 2004 5:16 pm

I have an Apple bluetooth mouse I want to try and use with my T42. A couple of days ago I tried to pair it but for some reason my T42 won't let it. It finds it and then gives the choice of using a passkey I make up or a passkey provided by Windows but neither works.
I was able to pair my Apple bluetooth keyboard so I don't know what I'm doing wrong with the mouse. One thing I noticed, after it provides the passkey or using one I make up it asks me to enter the passkey on the bluetooth device. You can do that on a keyboard but how do you enter a passkey # on a mouse? Any ideas, it shouldn't matter that it's an Apple mouse, bluetooth is bluetooth.

rocket I have some problem after solving bluetooth connection

here you are if you pass (and you will) first step you have the same?

but some problems continue maybe you have opinion them too,

Machine not detects automatically Logitech Bluetooth Mouse You have to go My Bluetooth Places and with view device in range option machine search there is any bluetooth device or not after it found as Logitech MX900 and 2 clicks it ask Human Interface Device Yes/No window if you click yes you can use mouse (I am tired everytime same process)

ang not end if you push to button of the mouse bottom side (white connect button ) like off ,bluetooth mouse off, then push again connect button normally in the seconds built in bluetooth machine could detect automatically but not you have to do the same thinks above said with trackpoint

understand?
