How to Import Win XP Cursors Into Win 7?

#1 Post by olex126 » Sun Feb 09, 2020 12:33 pm

Anybody know which file(s) I can export from Windows XP to Windows 7 that will give me the XP cursor set?

Or, if this is do-able?

I've always liked the "Bronze" cursor set in XP.

Thanks in advance

Regards.

The cursor files are under Windows\Cursors. You can copy all of them over (the 3D set for XP, including 'Bronze' is the 3d***.cur files). Then you probably have to select each one manually in the "Pointer" tab of the mouse properties by clicking "Browse".

I've used that method to use the Windows 10 cursor in Windows 7, however my preferred scheme is "None".
