What are the odds - video cards..

You guys are gonna kill me, but i still havent ordered my new laptop, I think the gods are trying to tell me somethin as everytime I get close to getting one something else in my life comes up and i end up waiting then just when i get close to ordering, things happen at ibm. (like the ibm sale to lenovo, now the upcoming announcement of new models coming out)
Im gonna get one of these things i swear.... im sold already

Wondering if anybody knew what the outlook is with video cards when the new T and R series notebooks come out.

Will they replace the laptops that now come with the 7500 and make the 9000 the standard issue or will they continue on with the 7500????

Read this thread in the T section, you'll learn a lot about the T43's that are coming. Won't be any T43P's until April, (if they hold to what the new tabook says). That being said, you probably won't see better deals on T42's than the next couple of weeks. Model I've had my eye on has dropped $400 in price, so I'm picking one up. On the MC/Visa/Discover
pages they are offering 20% off of a very good selection of Thinkpads,
with and without fingerprint readers.

I'm not really impressed with the T43, the P series looks interesting but they're not that much improved over the current line. If your sitting on the fence, now may be a good time to take the plunge. Good Luck.
