No problems here. Do you have pop-ups blocked?

ok.. how come when i use the matrix the URL for a driver points to an FTP location:

ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/mo ... ma18ww.exe

but for the same driver on the Support and Downloads pagefor the 2378-FVU points to a different link.. this link works for me.

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... ma09ww.exe

also.. if i log into ftp.software.ibm.com (where the matrix URLs point to for the drivers) and navigate to /pc/pccbbs/ i see all the directories for the applications and drivers.. but all the directories are empty. <shrugs>

Bad link, happens all the time and is usually cleared up in a day or so.

Yes, but you get a blank screen with no files listed as you stated!

ya... but when the problem goes away with the links in the matrix.. so will the ftp oddities. unless they change the URLs to point to a different location (not the current ibm ftp site). at least one would assume.

I tried it and it seems to work for me... today. I have found, in general, that the IBM site(s) have links that work one day, but not the next. There also seems to be different matrices at different IBM support URLs, which I've found only thru using the search functions over and over.

A Personal Firewall will also get in the way when it comes to downloading.

i use sygate personal firewall pro, it doesn't meddle with your browser like zone alarm or norton's crap.
