I would like to know the Ultrabay Hard Disk Adapter part number 62P4553 would be compatible with thinkpad T22 ultrabay?
IBM website only contain compatibility of the following model:
ThinkPad R50, R50p
ThinkPad T40, T40p
ThinkPad T41, T41p
ThinkPad X4 UltraBase Dock
Thanks in advance

Ultrabay hard disk Adapter compatibility
Hello Ambientscape,
no,
as You are actually talking of an ultraslimbay harddiskdrive adapter.
This is the "new" dimension for the latest IBM Thinkpads, that reflects the reduction in heights of harddiskdrives and optical drives together.
You might use such an adapter together with an other one, the slimbay drive adapter, to use it in an ultrabay 2000, but this means incurring twice the costs ..

It would only make sense if You used one of the latest notebooks and/or drives together with one of the older notebooks.

started with IBM-XT (80186) and AST-Ascentias NB (910N) in the 90ties, relying on Thinkpads (770X, A31Ps) until 2012,
now using an upgraded T60-61P "Frankenpad" (15"UXGA-LED Penryn 8GB 500GB/7200), and an X201/X230T (i7 8/16GB/500GB) Windows10
