Hi All,
I recently followed all the steps to burn TTAV134 BIOS into my T43 and it seems to have succeeded. When I put in an adapter with a Samsung SSD in it BIOS detects it properly, displaying correct SSD ID (MZMPA128HMFU), and I get "Operating system not found" at boot (the SSD is blank following secure erase). I can also reach the screen where it displays the SSD with entire 119GB unpartitioned space when starting Windows 7 installation from a USB flash memory stick. Do these observations confirm that my T43 is now running TTAV134 BIOS indeed? My next step will be its SATA mod by means of the bridge removal, so I want to be 100% sure I won't get caught with BIOS error 2010 at the point when I can no longer put in a whilelisted HDD back to boot into Windows XP and re-burn TTAV134 BIOS from under it. Unfortunately I was in a rush when burning TTAV134 BIOS and forgot to put in that adapter with the SSD before the mod to see behaviour differences before and afterwards.
Many thanks in anticipation!

To be 100% sure, get this program: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/deskt ... oolkit.cfm to check if you have Slic2.1 in BIOS.
OK if so.
NOK if not.

Is that in Advanced tab, SLIC Diagnostics section, Version field? Just tried it on another laptop running Windows 7 and got 2.1 in it.RealBlackStuff wrote:To be 100% sure, get this program: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/deskt ... oolkit.cfm to check if you have Slic2.1 in BIOS.

Btw is there an MS-DOS/FreeDOS tool that'd tell me the same? I've already wiped Windows XP from the HDD and wouldn't like to reinstall it all over again just to run this tool unless there are no other equivalent options.
