ThinkPad T43 BIOS Update Procedure [SOLVED]

Hi I'm writing because I have encountered some issues with BIOS Update:

I download the 1.29 Non-Diskette but it says "DeviceIoControl() 24 please restart..."

I read online that it could be due to Embedded controller version so I tried installing Bios 1.27, nothing to do.

I Use windows 7 Professional SP1 x86, The driver is designed for XP but two days ago I updated a T60 Bios with Windows 10 with no problem in compatibility mode.

At the moment BIOS version is 1.22 and EC 1.03. ThinkPad T43 2668-WDA.

What can I do to update to 1.29?

I read that post but when I download the diskette version of BIOS and put in in a Floppy it says on Boot to removo supports and restart.

SOLVED By installing Xp and Upgrading.
