ThinkPad T40 Windows 10 [SOLVED]

Hi Everybody,

I have upgraded my TP T40 to Pentium M 725. When i try installing Windows 10 it says it has not PAE, and I Know. But why if i try it on my TP X41 with the same CPU the installation starts? Is there a way to install it on TP T40?

It's not the same CPU. Not the same chipset to begin with.

R52 or T43/p but these will also call for different RAM and CPU.

The system board connector is the same on all sizes.

Just in case, just share the information.
On a laptop without the support of the NX bit, you can put a modern Windows.
installation instructions are easy to find in Google.
if short, you need to use the NX patch

T40 works very well under Windows 8.1
But it's worth remembering that the patch does not work on the latest builds of Windows.
