ultrabay slim battery and the multiple battery charger

does the ThinkPad Multiple Battery Charger II charge ultrabay slim batteries????

the ac adapter connector on my Xseries thinkpad keeps breaking (3 times already) and now it's out of warranty so i can't get it fixed.

i'm thinking when i get my replacement (most likely a t42 of some sort), i won't plug it in anymore, i'll just charge the batteries separately to avoid the strain on the ac port. (i like to use the laptop on my lap, so the ac plug gets stress on it from time to time as i move around, etc)

it should work - might be a bit loose so dont move it about but the connector is the same so will connect at least - i will give it a go when i get a try - the dc-in port on the T4* series should be much more stable though as it has an alloy bracket behind it and is held in by a screw as apposed to the plastic clips on some of the previous models
