LCD color changing?

#1 Post by Thinkpad4by3 » Thu May 11, 2017 7:59 am

Im not sure this is the right section but is the yellow/pink color change from the backlight or LCD? Just want to know if buying UXGA/qxga lcds with the color change can just get a ccfl swap.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

It's one of the layers in the LCD, not the CCFL.

Is it fixable with "relative" ease

If the yellowness is caused by one of the layers, it's not fixable at all.

I wonder if it would be fixed with an rgb backlight and a color sensor?? Something to check out when I have a week with nothing going on.
