Scratches on the top of my T40p - anyway to remove?

I have scratches on the top of my Thinkpad T40p. Is there a special cleaner or procedure I can perform to remove them. Thanks for any help.

If they are just scuffs, rub the top with Windex or 409. If they are true scratches (through the surface of the black material) there's not much you can do about it.
