Which ThinkPad Series is the most Popular?

As a new ThinkPad owner, I am amazed at all of the different series and models of the IBM TP. I made my choice of a T-42 due to my needs and reading about options on this forum. My question is, "Which series is most popular"?

Judging by the number of posts here at thinkpads.com forums, I'd say T series. ;)

T and X Series are definitely the most popular. They are the high end laptops of IBM.

You got yourself a very nice T42. :wink: Shipped?

Of course the Ts... but because IBM discontinued the A series. :wink:

(...and never understood why... sound-in, video-in, nice speakers... )

Most of the A owners had moved toward the Ts instead of toward the Gs and Rs as IBM will want us to. A fiasco of decision on discontinuing the As.
X220t IPS but but a bit unhappy with it
T60p 2007-93U 1600x1200 IPS (T42p is an overall better machine though. Lack of new IPS Thinkpads keeps me buying these older models!)
T42p 2373-KXU 1600x1200 IPS (The best ever!!)
A20p 2629-6UU 1400x1050 (My first Thinkpad!)
