Custom Colour Thinkpad

#1 Post by lilserenity » Thu Jun 03, 2004 6:32 pm

Hello,

Having to be careful on this T23, my hands are covered in grey primer and metalic green and laquer spray paint! (Someone wears gloves, NOT!)

I have just pretty much finished a custom case job on my 560X solid state, no more black for it (well except bits but it looks great), it's now metalic green and very nice too.

(Same metalic green used on some Mk. 3 Ford Escorts, and Mk 2 and 3 Ford Fiestas, Mk. 2 Sierras... UK)

Looks dead good.

I would never do something on a T series like it since:

a.) rubberised bottom and top of case
b.) worth too much
c.) cool in black.

But the 560X looks great, the icing on the cake for my custom solid state thinkpad!

Pictures soon I hope!

What? You didn't use chameleon paint to get a color such as "gold to magenta"? :-P That's what my friend would have done - he is a chameleon paint freak. Anyway, I'm sure it looks great - can we get pictures of it sometime?

What a mistake. Don't you know that this summer's DIY notebook look is WOOL?
