How about a third choice: 'The 14" is the perfect size, but I would still get the 15" for the Flexview screen."

That's me. :)

I like the 14" screen better simply because I like the low travel weight. If I actually needed lots of resolution I would go for the 15" scren.

I think a 14" Flexview would be a best seller... I liked the 15" SXGA+ alot, but I really missed the overall build and form factor of the 14" T40p, so I RMA'd my T42 15" SXGA+ and ordered a 14" T42p (see below).... of course, the stuck pixel did help make the decision an easier one... lol

Should we write petition to Samsung demanding 14.1 MVA or ISP matrix...

There is actually about 1 cm of diagonal space on either side, on the 14.1" monitor.. why can't IBM stretch the screen to span the whole size of the lid?

Where would the antennas go? How about the support of the LCD at the edges? If you look at the HMM blowout shot of the LCD assembly, you'll see it's fairly filled.

I think we're as close to the tinest possible bezel to use (plus who would manufactuer an odd size LCD like 14.4"... if it was a special item then that cost would be pushed to the customer for next to no bonus and it wouldn't fit into any of the standard GPU pixel resolutions and if they made the pixels bigger then image would be less sharp.

I do... and what can I say... French people sure like chitter chatter. Nothing really earthshattering there. But sure those pics are useful. And I am glad I chose a 14" 2373-KTU
