Firefox middle-click with UltraNav?
Hey guys, I just got my T42 2378-FVU not too long ago, and I have a question regarding Firefox.
Is there a way to use the trackpoint scroll button to work as a middle-click so i can open new tabs in Firefox? I would also like to retain the scroll functionality as well. Basically, i want it to work just like clicking the scroll wheel on my mouse. I did a search, but didn't seem to find any answers.
Anyone know how to do this?

Go to your Mouse Properties under control panel, select the trackpoint option, and choose "Neither" (as opposed to scroll or magnify) for the middle ultranav button. It's a very confusing and non-inutitive label, but it makes the middle button function as a standard middle button.

the ultranav process annoy me so i just uninstalled the ultranav divers
and disable the touchpad in bios and youre set - the trackpoint will act as a normal mouse and will let you scroll (although different from the ultranav) and use the middle mose button to click
obviously this wont work if you use the touchpad

I tried no drive, UltraNav and Synaptics drivers. The only way I can get a decent level of trackpoint sensitivity (light touch) is with UltraNav. The extra sensitivity went away if SynTPLpr is not running. So I ended up keeping SynTPLpr and disabling SynTPEnh.Logi7 wrote:the ultranav process annoy me so i just uninstalled the ultranav divers

Its a win-lose situation, the IBM's Trackpoint scrolling mechanism seems to find the scrollbar and then move it, the "neither" option is a simple middle click, that in some applications brings up the scrolling circle and then allows you to move in some direction until the mouse is clicked.
I liked to use scrolling while browsing my folders also, so I had to reactivate the Trackpoint scrolling.
