Fan for T42

I would confirm with the seller. The number is correct. The picture looks like a T43 fan

It is my understanding the fan will work in the T41, T42 and T43.

I have always believed that T43 fans are different

Different they are, but a T43 long fan (M24) will fit and work just fine on a T42/p motherboard requiring a M10 long fan, I have that setup on one of my "test" planars.

Update :
Received the fan from IBM yesterday (did not buy from ebay because of shipping time) and put it in my T42. Laptop is running fine so far.

Forums helped a lot.
