ThinkCentre weird PSU conector
My M90p has one 3 pin female connector that comes directly from PSU... It is not connected. Anyone know for what this connector is? Other side of the story is that guy who sold me PC put all components in smaller HTPC case then back to original Lenovo so maybe he didn't connected it to MBO.

Is that an actual pic? It refers back to an electric bicycle motor.
Three-pin molex connectors from a PSU can be for dedicated video card use, or perhaps a fan. It really helps to have an image of the actual connector (if the link isn't actually it).

Re: ThinkCentre weird PSU conector
Mine had the same thing, I don't have any idea what it was for
, I have since swapped the psu (to add a video card), and it doesn't seemed to have affected anything, which makes sense since it wasn't connected.
If anyone does have an idea, I'd love to know

Thank you for reply.
Also, does anyone know what is maximum PCIe 16x VGA that this PSU can handle? It is 280 W PSU.

Re: ThinkCentre weird PSU conector
not much - in my M57P I ran a GTX 430 with no external power connector, but that was about the limit of it, the psu turned into a space heater after that, and any other add in cards (a second lan card in my case), it would fail to boot. I got a new PSU fairly cheap to upgrade the video card past that (Now at a GTX460, works like a dream
).
As long as the video card you're looking at doesn't need pcie external power connector you should be fine, however it will be a fair bit of load on the psu.
