thinkcentre M51 recovery disks

Hi
I just got an M51 thinkcentre. I am in the process of making the (CD)
recovery disks, The first 5 in the series took a normal amount
of time to produce, but numbers 6,7,8 took only about 20 seconds
and seemed not to be able to record much in that time. It seems
prepared to go on forever but I don't want to make a bunch of
useless discs. Has anyone had experience with this?
How many disks will it make? I haven't been able
to find any numbers anywhere.

That's a new problem to me - you might try calling tech support about it....

Thanks Matt. I tried writing dvds instead of cds and that seemed
to succeed. I can't be sure because I haven't tried to restore from
them. I did not try the cd writing a second time, but from the
dvd size 6 or seven should be enough. Trying tech support is a
goog idea just to get my complaint registered.
