Configure BIOS on a M55e

My sandra checkup recommended a BIOS configuration to be both shadowed and cached.
I entered my BIOS using Ctrl-s but failed to find a way to implement this change.
1. How do I access a detailed version of my BIOS configuratrion
2. Is the recommended change possible on an M55e?
