How to hook power state events?

#1 Post by Dmitry Ivanov » Mon Mar 26, 2007 3:55 pm

Hi, everyone!

Does anybody know what application I can hook power state events on my ThinkPad T42?

For example:

1. Event of laptop disconnecting form AC adapter => run appliacation #1.

2. Event of laptop connecting to AC adapet => run Application #2.

It could be useful for runing undervolting settings when notebook is working on battery and it can be returned to normal state when AC power is plugged. Yes, I know that RM CPU Clock Utility is a solution of undervolting on demand, but I want to launch additional application when "on battery" event was occured.

Best regards,
Dmitry.
