T30 questions: T2x accessories, wireless, ultranav

Hi everyone,

I have a T21 (2647-87U) that has served me well for several years. I would like something newer, similar form factor, and believe the T30 is the answer.

1) I have the following T21 accessories. Which will work with a T30?
- AC adapter (I have 2)
- Port Replicator
- 2nd HDD tray
- Ultrabay battery
- Floppy
- External FDD via cable (used to boot from floppy)

2) Is the wireless in a T30 upgradeable to 802.11g? I have a DLink DI-624 "g" router and my T21 screams with its DWL-G650 PCMICA wireless adapter. I'd rather use the built-in wireless if I can (and sell the DLink card with the T21). I see many posts about wireless issues though. Perhaps keeping the DLink card would be best. Thoughts?

3) Can the Ultranav PAD be disabled? I dislike glidepads in a major way. Love the trackpoint though.

Only with a PCMCIA card - best to keep the one you have already.

3) Can the Ultranav PAD be disabled?

Yes

Love the trackpoint though.
