Broke a latch on my T23...anyone have an extra layin around?

I broke the left latch on my T23...and today I looked up the part number on IBM's website and noticed they want 35.00 for this piece! Its a piece of plastic. I searched ebay for it and nothing. I was hoping one of you may have an extra laying around that you could part with for a few bucks. I just think it is insane to pay 35.00 for a piece of plastic.

Check with Thinkpadsales(ebay ID). Dave has a lot of TP pieces/parts. I've got stuff from him that were either outragous $$ from IBM, or not avail on eBay. I get no kickback or anything from him for recommendations, just know he has a lot of hard-to-find stuff..

Search ebay for sellers named thinkpadsales, as I believe that that is the user ID, hence the lack of spaces.

...Unfortunately, there are so many people willing to do such silly buys that IBM can demand $35.

If nothing else, you could buy a broken T23 off eBay for a few bucks and keep it for parts.

A broken T23 for a few bucks?? Haven't looked at the bid prices lately, huh? I guess $100-$250 for a broken one is a better buy than a $3 latch.
