Enjoy your T30. They Are rather nice machines. One of the people whom I attend university with has both a T23 and a T30. I'll ask hom about your questions and see if I can get him to become a member here.

Is the light by the Ultrabay eject lever...
If you mean the light with the arrow and the "x" next to it, you've got it exactly right. On when something is in the ultrabay, off when empty.

I noticed that the light is always on too on my T30. What model did you get?

I LOVE MY T30 :!: :D it is rock solid.....

Please post what the results are with the 54K HD, and also was there a significant difference in benchmarks between the two processors. I've got the 1.8 also.

My T30 has the bluetooth button, but no antenna either. I bought the original IBM spare part ("antenna louver") for $17 but am still waiting for it to arrive.
Building it in is going to be difficult - the maintenance manual says it goes where the processor fan is located. That basically means the whole machine needs to be taken apart...
